Behaviour Support
At Mitra HealthCare, we are committed to providing Behaviour Support that protects your dignity, promotes your wellbeing, and enhances your quality of life. As a registered provider under the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), we deliver behaviour support services in line with approved plans, focusing on safety, respect, and positive outcomes.
While we do not provide specialist Behaviour Support Practitioner assessments or develop Behaviour Support Plans at this stage, our trained clinical team work closely with you, your family, and your authorised Behaviour Support Practitioner to implement agreed strategies effectively and consistently. Our role is to ensure support is delivered safely, respectfully, and in accordance with your individual needs and NDIS plan.
Our Behaviour Support services may include:
- •Implementing approved Behaviour Support Plans with consistency and care
- •Providing structured, calm, and supportive environments
- •Using positive behaviour support strategies to promote emotional wellbeing
- •Supporting skill development, communication, and coping strategies
- •Monitoring, recording, and reporting progress in accordance with NDIS requirements
- •Working collaboratively with families, practitioners, and allied health professionals
All supports are delivered in alignment with NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework. Our team is trained to prioritise proactive, preventative, and person-centred approaches that reduce distress and promote positive outcomes.
